“Liberty is a Paint draft mix. She joined the Horses for Hope herd in 2014. I remember how she took to a particular student. This girl was very shy, insecure and lacking self-confidence. Liberty would walk up and greet her when she saw her (she didn’t do that with the other students). It was amazing to me to watch this shy, quite girl blossom into an outgoing confident social butterfly. She started competing in shows, participating in special events and talking with everyone. All because she found a special horse that she made a connection with.” —Tony R.
