Dusty jumped out of the pasture he was living in, ran across a field of fighting soldiers, and enlisted himself into the Union Army! Once discovered, some actors attempted to return him home, only to find his owners no longer wanted him. He was then adopted by his current owner and brought to our therapeutic riding program.
