The cause: Proceeds from the hat are donated to the Shirley Bowman Nutritional Clinic and Patient Services at the Peggy and Charles Stephenson Cancer Center at the University of Oklahoma. It’s a personal mission for Shorty, as Shirley was her sister and died November 3, 2004.
